Prior + Partners is a specialist placemaking consultancy that integrates masterplanning, planning and economics to unlock the potential of places and communities around the globe.
As a multi-disciplinary practice, we are united by a common purpose to craft places that connect people to each other and to nature, as well as establish communities that are healthy, resilient, and economically vibrant. This commitment can be seen throughout our work, which successfully navigates across scales, from city-wide transformation plans focused on delivery and growth around major infrastructure, to site-level masterplans and development strategies.
We have a reputation for leading complex and long-term regeneration schemes, with our world-class clients including The Crown Estate, Google, and public sector bodies such as Homes England, as well as many local authorities, including Manchester, Southampton, Bristol and Oxford.
The practice is also leading some of the UK’s most progressive new communities, a sector where we have developed a strong track record of innovative projects, including a national exemplar garden town: West of Ifield, to a cross-authority approach at North Essex Garden Communities.
Key to our multi-disciplinary approach, our in-house digital innovation team works with us to rapidly process, synthesise and present spatial data to identify issues and define solutions, with a view to furthering conversations with major stakeholders, establishing dynamic, data-rich evidence bases covering all aspects of “place”.
As a practice, we also understand the value of genuine client and stakeholder involvement to build consensus when establishing a common vision and place identity. As part of this, we offer in-house and extensive experience of producing investment plans, research reports, publications, promotional material and content on behalf of diverse clients and thought leaders to help them engage multifaceted audiences in the UK and globally.
