Uniquely announces £7 million West Midlands investment

100 new jobs to be created in the region in 2025

A leading business process outsourcer in the field of sales and customer services has today (17th March 2025, St Patrick’s Day) officially announced a £7 million investment in Solihull, West Midlands as part of a wider £20 million investment across the West Midlands, Northwest and Scotland.

100 new jobs are set to be created by Irish-owned company Uniquely in the region by the end of 2025, contributing to economic growth and innovation.

Uniquely is a dynamic business process outsourcer renowned for delivering outstanding sales and service solutions across diverse industries. The company, which has its headquarters in Ireland, has opened offices in Solihull, Manchester and Glasgow and will employ 300 staff by the end of 2025 across the three regions.

Offering a flexible and innovative environment and business-class amenities for staff Uniquely’s new high-tech workspace is located in Orega’s Ingenuity House on Bickenhill Lane in Solihull, next to Birmingham Airport.

The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) – the region’s official investment promotion agency –supported the investment by providing Uniquely with insights to support their understanding of how investing in a hub at the centre of the country could accelerate their UK growth. WMGC also provided the business with sector-focused consultancy, support around property selection, introductions to local recruitment agencies and specialist PR consultancy to help them raise their profile in the West Midlands marketplace.

The investment was highlighted at the first annual UK-Ireland Summit hosted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and attended by Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin in Liverpool last week. The event showcased the world-class talent on both sides of the Irish Sea and celebrated the deep ties between the people and cultures of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Despite the challenges in trade posed by Brexit, the UK remains Ireland’s biggest trading partner in Europe.
