West Midlands
at UKREiiF
The transformative power of the West Midlands will be on full display at the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum 2025, showcasing to investors the region’s progressive, diverse and dynamic ecosystem.
The three-day event, held from 20th–22nd May 2025, connects public and private-sector decision-makers to highlight investment opportunities, driving economic growth through development and regeneration.

What’s on at the
West Midlands Pavilion?
During UKREiiF, the West Midlands pavilion will host a comprehensive and diverse events programme with speakers from across sectors and industries.
There will be plenty of opportunities to network with our public sector delegation and commercial partners, and to learn more about the region’s offer.
Three Cities, Seven Local Authorities
West Midlands Growth Company and its partners, including the seven local authorities comprising the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), look forward to discussing over £18bn opportunities with developers, funders, and investors.
The West Midlands’ thriving ecosystem is leading the charge on global innovation from the heart of the United Kingdom. Our region regularly achieves the largest share of all UK regional foreign direct investment outside of London. In the last 12 months, our exports grew by 26% – the best growth of any region or nation in the UK and more than double the national average.

A region that never stands still
Curator of the world’s first industrial revolution and home to a melting pot of talent, expertise and diverse communities, it’s in our DNA to drive progress and make an impact that resonates far beyond our borders.
Our high-productivity ‘knowledge production’ clusters create the optimum conditions for industry convergence, expanding cutting-edge industries, shaping new talent pipelines, delivering highly-paid jobs and catalysing the regeneration of towns and cities.
We’re working with investors, partners and developers to develop extensive, wide-ranging real estate investment opportunities, further transforming communities and our economy. From university-backed innovation-led projects to large-scale regenerative schemes and ambitious town centre masterplans, there is a wealth of investment opportunities available, including:
- 140-hectare Arden Cross Development
- £250m Wolverhampton Green Innovation Corridor
- £4bn Birmingham Knowledge Quarter (BK-Q)
- £250m University of Warwick Innovation Campus
- £1.9bn Birmingham Smithfield Project
Now is the time to invest in the West Midlands
It’s a pivotal time to become part of our future story. The West Midlands has secured government funding to spark significant & transformative change across our many cities, towns and high streets.

The UK Government’s trailblazing devolution deal with the West Midlands Combined Authority, worth £1.5 billion, affords the West Midlands greater control than ever before over the levers of economic prosperity through a consolidated, long-term budget. This follows the 2022 West Midlands Plan for Growth, which outlined policy interventions to accelerate cluster growth and continue to support a sustainable and future-proofed built environment.
Now is the optimal time to invest in the West Midlands’ world-class real estate sector.
