Our Event
Programme

Discover how Momentum and Delivery is changing the real estate market in the West Midlands.

Under the banner Momentum and Delivery: It Starts Here, the West Midlands delegation will deliver a three-day programme from one of the largest pavilions at UKREiiF this year. Taking place from 19th–21st May, the West Midlands Pavilion will host industry leaders from across the public and private sectors, leading discussions on investment, regeneration, and growth.

Our programme centres on five key themes: Big Moves, Money Talks, Urban Living, It Starts in the West Midlands, and Next Gen. Through expert talks, panel discussions, and curated networking, these themes will deliver practical insights for investors, developers, and policymakers.

Events, times and details will be added here as they are announced. Check back to stay updated on all things West Midlands.

Tuesday Morning
Big Moves

As an evergreen magnet for global capital, and as the UK’s leading destination for Foreign Direct Investment outside London, the region is proving its resilience across sports, leisure, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. It boasts a thriving residential market, anchored by Birmingham, which saw record residential completions in 2025.

National leaders will dissect the West Midlands’ secret sauce, exploring why the region’s residential market is thriving while others stall, and how it continues to capture significant international interest.

Tuesday Afternoon
Money Talks

Tuesday afternoon, we’ll be turning the spotlight onto capital and funding, exploring how funding solutions are being structured, deployed and scaled the unlock delivery across the West Midlands.

We are a trailblazing region for devolution and the recipient of a £2.5bn funding package from Central Government. It positions the West Midlands at the forefront of new policies and programmes with the capability to deliver at scale.

We will look in-depth at how national, regional and local stakeholders – from pension funds to PuFins – are working together with the market to accelerate development and regeneration, including a specific focus on housing as the West Midlands looks for partners to fulfil its target of 120,000 new homes over the next decade.

Wednesday morning
Urban Living

The West Midlands is one of Europe’s youngest regions and its urban centres are evolving to match that energy. A quarter of Birmingham’s population is under the age of 20, making it the youngest major city in Europe. With Birmingham seeing its highest post-pandemic on-site residential starts and a 6,000-unit pipeline across Coventry and Wolverhampton, the region is the epicentre of the UK’s ‘Urban Renaissance.’

Join us for this morning diving into the vibrant changes taking place as we design for Europe’s youngest talent pool, followed by a celebratory lunch marking milestones at Lendlease’s flagship Birmingham Smithfield development – the new heartbeat of the city.

Wednesday Afternoon
It Starts In The West Midlands

£77bn economy powered by AI, cyber security, EV manufacturing, and financial services, the West Midlands has grown from being the workshop of the world and is now it’s R&D lab. This afternoon, you can hear directly from disruptors and game changers of the innovation frontier as we move beyond heritage to highlight the high-value employment and technological breakthroughs that prove the next industrial revolution doesn’t just happen in the UK, it starts in the West Midlands.

Thursday
Next Gen

The West Midlands is an ocean of talent, powered by its 10 universities and one of Europe’s youngest, most diverse populations. On Thursday, our pavilion transforms into a dedicated ‘Next Gen Hub’, shifting the focus to the people who will inhabit and lead our landmark future regeneration schemes and the technology that will drive it.

As global investors and occupiers flock to the region, this session highlights why the West Midlands is the premier place for talent to grow and thrive and what we’re doing to attract it.
