Offa celebrates growth with Solihull office opening
Offa opens new Solihull office as Fintech growth accelerates in the West Midlands. Doubling its workforce to 55 people over the past year, the Solihull-based Fintech business – an award-winning British Islamic property finance firm – are highlighting the West Midlands’ growing reputation as a base for scaling its range of halal property finance products.
The new office marks the next stage of growth for Offa, which has expanded its range of Sharia-compliant property finance products in response to growing demand across the UK.
Founded in Solihull five years ago, Offa has continued to grow from its West Midlands base, using the region’s access to talent, connectivity and financial services expertise to support its expansion.
This is an important milestone for Offa. Doubling our team over the past year reflects the strength of demand for our products and the hard work of everyone across the business.
Our new Solihull office gives us the space, infrastructure and presence we need for the next stage of our growth. We are proud to be building the business from the West Midlands and contributing to the region’s thriving financial services sector.
– Sultan Choudhury OBE, Executive Chairman, Offa
The company’s growth reflects the wider strength of the West Midlands’ Fintech sector, where businesses benefit from a connected ecosystem of talent, innovation support and established financial services expertise.
Offa has deep roots in the region. Three of its four directors were born in Birmingham, and Executive Chairman Sultan Choudhury OBE was part of the founding team of Al Rayan Bank, the first Islamic finance bank launched in Britain from Birmingham.
The office opening brought together members of the local business and civic community, including the Leader of Solihull Council, who celebrated the company’s continued investment in the borough.
I’m delighted to join Offa for the opening of their fantastic new Solihull offices. Companies like Offa play a vital role in our thriving Fintech sector, bringing innovation, high‑quality jobs and real energy to the borough.
Their continued success, and their decision to stay and expand here in Solihull, is a powerful endorsement of what we offer as a place to do business in terms of outstanding connectivity, opportunity and lifestyle. We’re proud to support Offa as they take this exciting next step.
– Cllr Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council
